Transaction Set Control Number
Description: Identifying control number that must be unique within the transaction set functional group assigned by the originator for a transaction set
The Transaction Set Control Number in ST02 and SE02 must be identical. This unique number also aids in error resolution research. Submitters could be sending transactions using the number 0001 in this element and increment from there. The number must be unique within a specific functional group (GS-GE) andinterchange (ISA-IEA), but can repeat in other groups and interchanges.
